Recycling Plans

Crossley Evans has operated as a leading recycling business for over 100 years. During that time, we have been at the forefront of innovative recycling techniques, like our modular collection system that has since been launched by other recycling companies. This still remains the case today, as we position ourselves at the cutting-edge of modern recycling.

In recent years, major investments have been made in new equipment and processes to offer customers efficient and cost-effective recycling services that meet the highest environmental standards.

"We have extensive plans to introduce a number of projects over the coming years, including our revolutionary biomass project. We have a number of other projects in the pipeline with internationally renowned partners that will develop new and exciting environmental technologies."
Matthew Evans, Managing Director
Wildlife Projects

Crossley Evans operates across a number of industrial scale recycling sites. We dedicate a large area to wildlife and natural habitats. These areas have been assessed by West Yorkshire Ecology and found to contain a vast collection of diverse flora and forna. They contain a broad range of wildlife that would not otherwise have a suitable habitat. We regularly monitor these areas in conjunction with our environmental groups.

Schools and Community Groups

We work closely with a number of community groups and schools in the North of England to promote the principles of recycling, with events onsite and within schools and the community. We are a keen supporter of the Eco-Schools (including Eco-Buds) initiative and provide recycling services to many schools.

If your school or community group is interested in joining one of our initiatives or taking part in a trip to Crossley Evans, please call us for further information or to express your interest.
