We offer bespoke recycling services, dependent on your organisation’s needs, including domestic shipments by road, rail and container. There is a heavy lifting and transportation service and machine dismantling service available too, both on and off-site. Whatever your load, we operate a fleet of Large Goods Vehicles that are capable of carrying containers, from pallet size to roll-on-off bins and articulated bulk trailers.
When assessing a new site or organisation, our resourcing team will carry out an initial assessment to establish the most efficient provision of containers and the type and level of service required. We have many years’ experience of recycling vehicles, offering competitive prices and value to our customers, based on our ethos of complete transparency. We accept de-polluted vehicles from licensed, authorised treatment facilities and unpolluted vehicles that have the V5 registration document, matching the name and ID of the person presenting the vehicle for recycling.
The de-pollution process involves draining all liquids from the vehicle, removing batteries, wheels and hazardous parts, making airbags and other safety devices safe, and removing as many parts as possible for reuse or recycling. The process is similar to all other materials we accept from members of the public. We simply manage everything in the most environmentally ethical way, within the legalities of waste disposal and recycling processes.
Crossley Evans is able to manage the decommissioning and recycling of any aircraft size from any UK location. We offer a full recovery service of either parts or of full aircrafts. Please contact us, if you’d like to know more about this specialist recycling service.
Crossley Evans can offer a complete audit of your waste streams and processes. We identify the potential for recycling throughout your organisation and discuss how to achieve the maximum value from those materials. Call us about this tailored waste service.
Crossley Evans provides a good value skip and container hire service. You can select different skip and container sizes for hire, depending on your business requirements. Through our modular collection system, you can also segregate your waste materials at source, allowing more efficient recycling that offers higher revenues and lower costs.
Whether you’re a domestic or trade customer, we can provide the containers that you need and the assurance that your waste will be disposed of safely, legally and ethically.
We will usually deliver a skip or container within 24 hours and can even offer a ‘wait while you load’ service, if required. You will need to place the container on private land. If it is placed on a public highway, a council permit may be required. Ask us for more details.
Please ensure that the container is level loaded and is not used for the disposal of food waste, paint cans, aerosols, gas canisters, batteries, tyres, fridges, freezers or asbestos.
